About the artist

 Ksenia Sapunkova is a Canadian artist and entrepreneur, who grew up in Easter Europe. After graduating with a BA Sculpture at the I.Trush College in Lviv she moved to Toronto to pursue illustration and attend graduate school at Sheridan college. Ksenia is proficient in traditional media. In her work she combines watercolour and Ink with digital tools, which she discovered as the most efficient to create atmospheric illustrations. Also Ksenia specializes in brand identity for small businesses and collaborates with magazines, newspapers and book publishers. Since 2014 she participates in projects with the Byzantine Iconographic studio, where she also practices painting medium sized Byzantine Icons. Client list includes but not limited to The Kit Fashion Magazine, Collective Arts Brew, The National Post, Wonderful World of CircusBMO, Align Your Health, GT.Physiocare. In 2015 she got involved with fashion and founded M.R.C.StyleHer work can be found in private collections and museums of Canada, US, Ukraine, France, England, Russia, Poland and Italy.
